#2 Wide Variety Of Asset Classes

BUX Zero allows you to invest on Dutch, German, Belgian, French, Austrian, and US stock markets. BUX is always adding more stocks to its app, so if the stock you’re looking to buy isn’t there today, it might be tomorrow. You can also send BUX requests for new stocks through the chat in the BUX Zero app, encouraging them to add the stocks you want even more quickly.

BUX Zero users can also buy dozens of ETFs, including ETFs from Vanguard, iShares, Lyxor, UBS, Xtrackers, and more.

#4 Monthly Transaction Reports

If you choose, BUX Zero will automatically send you a monthly report of your recent transactions. This report will contain your name, the depot number, and an overview of all your positions and orders from the previous month.

Here’s how to activate these transaction overview emails:

  1. Click on the upper right icon in the app
  2. Click on “Communication”
  3. Tick the “Transactions” box

#5 Dividend Payouts

When you own shares in a company that pays out dividends, BUX awards the dividend to your account when the company makes it available. Not every online broker actually pays the dividends on to the customer, so this is a great bonus of investing with BUX Zero.

#6 Plenty Of Market Data

Right from the BUX Zero app, you have access to reams of data to help you make great investing decisions. Those data include 52-week ranges, market caps, earnings per share, price-earnings ratios, earnings dates, revenue figures, dividend information (dates, yields, frequency, etc.), and more.

#3 Zero Orders

BUX offers what it calls a “Zero Order”, which enables anyone to invest in any asset commission-free. The Zero Order is relevant for all EU shares and ETFs, since all US share orders are already commission-free with BUX.

The way the Zero Order works is that it’s executed at the end of the trading day, between 4 and 5 pm (CET). All orders must be placed before 4 pm (CET) to be executed that day; if they are placed after that time, they will be executed between 4 and 5 pm (CET) the following trading day. If you wish to cancel your Zero order, you can do so before the cutoff time.

FX Markup

When you buy, sell or receive dividends from US stocks, BUX needs to convert the equivalent amount from EUR to USD or vice-versa. They charge a FX markup of 0.25% to the EUR/USD FX spot rate in those cases.
